What is IBSA?
IBSA is defined as the non-consensual creation, spread, and/or storage of intimate images/videos. Threats to spread intimate images/videos are included. Intimate images/videos refer to visual content that is sexualised or sexually explicit. They may depict a person in their underwear, completely nude, or performing a sexual act.
Our Theory of Change
-
Hold check-in circles where survivors can build trust and relational safety
-
Run wellness programmes that bring survivors and allies together to heal collectively
-
Engage in advocacy and produce research/thought pieces that deepen public understanding of IBSA
We believe change for victim-survivors of IBSA happens through connection, visibility, and knowledge. Here's how our work builds toward it:
-
Survivors feeling less isolated and more connected
-
Survivors more empowered, with their voices and experiences better represented
-
Greater public awareness and understanding of IBSA
A thriving community of IBSA survivors — safe, informed, and in control of their own paths.
If We Do...
… Then We'll See…
… So That, Together, We Achieve...
How has Moxie helped you feel seen, heard, and understood?
Words from our community <3
The Moxie Collective has become a small village for me: a community that holds space for the big and small. The steady monthly support helped me feel grounded and not alone
My first meeting with The Moxie Collective was life-changing. I wasn't victim-blamed; I was seen as a whole person. That night, I finally slept peacefully.
Moving from deep conversations during reflective workshops to casual hangouts showed me I was accepted, even after revealing my shame and vulnerabilities.
